Omaid Bahar Group, with over a few decades of experience in both domestic as well as international business has now established a fruit processing factory in Kabul, Afghanistan. Omaid Bahar Fruit Processing Facility is the first and only factory of its kind in Afghanistan.

The factory is the state-of-the-art facility with the most modern fruit processing technology imported from Italy and Sweden. The factory operates to the highest international standards of hygiene and safety. As such it is one of handful factories in Afghanistan to have received ISO 22000 and HACCP certificates.

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve organizational goals and revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Provide coaching and training to team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets.
  • Manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for maximum return on investment.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborate on promotional activities and product launches to maximize sales impact.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new sales team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and customer needs.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  •  Experience: At-least 6 years of relevant working experience in Sales with processing and distribution of food & beverage, including three years as supervisory role.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
