Amiri Medical Complex (AMC) is a private hospital incorporated under the government of Afghanistan with license numbers D-26055 and 6019. It operates in accordance with and is subject to the laws of Afghanistan. The facility is located at the Afghan Red Crescent Society, Afshar, Qargha Road, in a green and calm environment. Its inauguration was graced by Afghanistan’s former president, His Excellency Mr. Hamid Karzai. Since its inception, AMC has been committed to delivering essential services to a segment of the population that has long been neglected and underserved.

AMC is Afghanistan’s foremost reliable, member of the International Hospital Federation (IHF) and is accredited by the European Association of Preventive Cardiology. It operates as a tertiary-care facility with 129 beds, specializing in cardiac care and various other medical sub-specialties. The Role

Officer – Graphic Design & Events is responsible for developing creative design materials that support the hospital’s communication, branding, and promotional activities required for internal and external campaigns, patient education resources, digital platforms, and publications. In addition, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating the planning and management of hospital events, ensuring professional execution that aligns with the hospital’s goals. Also, to ensure close collaboration with medical and administrative teams to maintain consistent branding, enhance patient and staff engagement, and promote the hospital’s services and commitment to quality healthcare and social responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate creative knowledge and skills in designing and video materials using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effect applications.
• Highly skilled in creative design for brochures, posters, patient education resources, digital content, reports, and publications.
• Support Marketing Department in planning and implementing branding objectives, promotional campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives.
• Suggest innovative design ideas, event concepts, and promotional strategies to enhance brand awareness, viability and public awareness.
• Coordinate in organizing and managing hospital events, including vendor management, venue setup, audiovisual support, invitations, registrations, and on-site supervision.
• Maintain proper filing and electronic record systems for contracts, quotations, design files, event documents, and related administrative records.
• Ensure that all hard and soft copy documents are up-to-date and support internal and external audits by providing organized and accurate documentation.
• Effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing urgent matters while maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times.
• Escalate any alarming complaint/issue to the immediate supervisor.
• Undertake any other duty assigned by the immediate superior.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effect, etc.
• At least three years of experience working in production houses, or in a professional setting for high-quality graphic design and video editing.
