About the 50 Women in Tech Program:

50 Afghan Women in Tech will identify and support 50 women from Afghanistan to become future technology leaders. The program will enable the fellows to work directly with technology companies that are actively supporting Afghanistan.

The program works as a one-year fellowship that provides fully-remote work opportunities for Afghan women. The package includes a monthly allowance, an internet fee, a workstation, and other requirements that will enable the fellow to work full-time remotely with the organizing partners.

Aseel Technology is hiring a Product Manager for our 50 Afghan Women in Tech Leaders Program Fellowship Cohort 3 to work with one of our program partners. The role is explained in detail as follows:

1. Product Manager

Purpose

The Product Manager will lead the design, development, and delivery of products that meet customer needs, align with business strategy, and create value for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and user feedback sessions.
• Translate business requirements into product features and specifications.
• Work with cross-functional teams (design, development, marketing, sales) to deliver products on time.
• Monitor product performance and iterate for improvements.
• Ensure alignment of product development with business objectives.
• Re-imagine and coordinate new features coming as brought up from client(s) including US/Afghan Banking Integration Systems.

Deliverables

• Product strategy documents and roadmaps.
• Functional product requirement documents (PRDs).
• Regular product performance and user feedback reports.
• Successful product launches and updates.

Reporting

Reports directly to the Principal Product Manager

Requirements

• Certification in UI/UX Design/ Product Management
• Strong research skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2-4  years’ experience in product management or project management.
• Strong knowledge of product lifecycle management and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to gather and analyze customer and market insights.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams.
