Job Descriptions:

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Conduct follow up interviews of working children in Torkham border
•    Participation in all workshops and seminars organizes for children, for the awareness of children situation.
•    To survey family situation of children in crisis including families, orphan children, extremely vulnerable families and children, and introduce them for relevant organizations.
•    Making relationship closer between the families and children conflict with the law
•    Survey the poor or extremely vulnerable working children, and their families
•    Coordinate children issues with CBCPNs in a systematic manner, considering the best interest of the child.
•    Conduction of rapid/ assessment and field test survey as per questionnaire developed.
•    11. Identification and reporting of key issues to CP officer, which affecting working children in Torkham border
•    To have knowledge/ and ability to collect required quantitative and qualitative sufficient information from the area.
•    Actively participate in conduction of survey with children, guardians, parents + care givers, local business, local civil societies and local administration (police).
•    To assist the CP Officers in provision of relevant information that helps them to present to CPAN (while during sharing outcomes).
•     Collecting update data/ information that reflect and prioritize the situation and magnitude of  working children in Torkham border
•    Have ability to assist the CP Officers to input for designing future intervention to improve the lives and access to opportunity of  working children in Torkham border
•    To assist the CP Officers in data entry and analyzing and reporting the situation of street working children.
•     To assist the CP Officer in identification of local resources that help them to collect and reflect relevant data/ and information on working children.
•    To assist the CP Officer, referring to other services in case of specific needs
•    To assist the CP Officer that help them maximizing safety and security of staff in targeted areas.
•     Identify vulnerable working children in Torkham zero point
•    To coordinate closely with the HARO Monitoring and Evaluation Department on M&E requirements of the project.
•    Conduct intake interviews, prepare case profiles of working children at risk, 
•    ensure that management of cases are in accordance to the Minimum standards for child protection in Humanitarian action
•    Conducting debriefing and counseling session with minor and their families
•    Closed coordination and cooperation with staff in border.
•    Maintains and adherence to all HARO policies and procedures, including Child Protection policy.
•    Attends all supervisory meetings, team planning meetings and curriculum meetings scheduled by PM.
•    Given guidance on developing of case management system.
•    Keeping Closed coordination and communication between HARO and DoLSA
•    Keeping updated the Supervisor and Project Manager on the progress of project activities.
•    Prepare and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly Reports to the Supervisor/Project Manager.
•    Prepare proper documentation as per HARO policies and procedures when delivering children to their families and for travel expenditures.
•    Any other tasks required by Supervisor/Project Manager.
 

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in sociology, psychology, social studies or any other field relevant to the project.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years progressively responsible of professional work experience at a national level in implementing humanitarian and/or especially in Child protection program.
  • Community social development experiences an asset
  • Dari/Pashto is required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills including (i) a full working knowledge of English (ii) fluency in one national language and good reading, writing, listening and speaking skill.
