About Future Generations Afghanistan:

Future Generations (FG) is the collective name for an international network of non-governmental organizations including FG Country Programs in Asia and Africa, Future Generations University (FGU) and its alumni in 17 countries, academia, and individual’s experts. The original charitable organization, Future Generations, was established in 1992 for the purpose of learning from, and building upon the world’s most successful examples of community empowerment and social change. It is complemented by the Future Generations Graduate School (Future Generations University) in 2006 in the State of West Virginia with authorization to provide a Master's Degree in Applied Community Change focus on Conservation and Peace building.  The Future Generations Afghanistan (FGA) established in May 2002 and obtained its registration certificate from Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan in October 2005.  Since 2007, FGA has been operational in Eastern Afghanistan, and successfully completed development and humanitarian programs in Nangarhar, Laghman , Kunar, Nuristan, Logar, Wardak, Nimruz, Herat, Kanadahar, Badghis, Panjshir and Bamyan Provinces

Job Descriptions:

He/She will be responsible for establishing and managing complaint mechanisms to ensure accountability and transparency within FGA, understanding of community engagement and effective communication skills to address grievances and enhance service delivery.

Job Requirements:

  • Develop and implement accessible complaint mechanisms for beneficiaries.
  • Conduct outreach to inform communities about complaint processes.
  • Maintain accurate records of complaints and responses.
  • Prepare regular reports on complaint trends and resolutions for management.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure comprehensive response to complaints.
  • Receive and document complaints, ensuring timely acknowledgment and follow-up.
  • Investigate complaints thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
  • Analyze complaint data to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement in service delivery.
  • Prepare regular reports on complaint statistics, resolutions, and recommendations for management.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of complaint mechanisms and suggest improvements based on feedback and evaluations.
  • Advocate for the rights of beneficiaries by ensuring their voices are heard and addressed within the organization
  • Ensure all complaints are handled with discretion and respect for the privacy of individuals involved.
  • Provide training to staff on handling complaints effectively and sensitively.

Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.

Proficient in languages  Spoken and writting Dari, Pashto.

Familiarity with humanitarian principles and standards.
