Job Descriptions:

  1. Commodities must be stacked in an organized manner, by commodity type, at the distribution center to facilitate easy distribution.
  2. Take an active role in beneficiary registration and verification to ensure that the process is fair.
  3. Organize and supervise the distribution of food items in the field and FDPs.
  4. Commodities must be properly stacked on plastic sheeting at the distribution center.
  5. To ensure smooth distribution and flow of beneficiaries, ensure that the distribution center is properly organized and secured with ropes and crowd control measures.
  6. Responsible for ensuring that all necessary distribution equipment, such as forms, ropes, banners, plastic sheets, measuring devices, and so on, is available at the distribution center.

Job Requirements:

 

  1. Lead and oversee food distribution activities at the district level, ensuring effective and timely delivery in accordance with project plans.
  2. Supervise the district-level project team, providing guidance to meet project objectives and timelines.
  3. Coordinate and monitor community and household-level beneficiary identification surveys.
  4. Facilitate regular team meetings to address operational challenges and communicate updates to management.
  5. Prepare, finalize, and submit accurate activity and distribution reports within designated deadlines.
  6. Ensure effective collaboration and communication among all project staff working in the district.
  7. Verify and account for all commodities received at distribution centers (FDPs), ensuring proper documentation and handling.
  8. Inspect incoming commodities for quantity and quality as per waybills, promptly reporting and documenting any discrepancies or damages.
  9. Supervise offloading procedures, ensuring that commodities are carefully counted and recorded.
  10. Organize and stack commodities systematically by type at distribution points to facilitate efficient distribution.
  11. Participate in beneficiary registration and verification processes, ensuring fairness, accuracy, and transparency.
  12. Manage and supervise food distribution activities in the field and FDPs, ensuring adherence to standards.
  13. Ensure commodities are placed on plastic sheeting and stored safely, maintaining hygiene and minimizing spoilage.
  14. Implement effective crowd control and site management measures to maintain safety and order at distribution centers.
  15. Ensure the availability of necessary distribution materials and equipment, such as forms, ropes, banners, plastic sheets, and measuring tools.
  16. Oversee the loading and return of leftover commodities, ensuring proper documentation and waybill issuance (LMA).
  17. Maintain complete, accurate records, including tally sheets and beneficiary lists, and ensure secure filing at the office.
