We offer variety of Services (Enterprise Economy, Enterprise Platinum, Enterprise Banking Microwave, Banking Satellite and Hotel Wireless Package) so client will have several options to select the package that fulfills their network connectivity.
Network Zone registered with (License#:22695 & Reg#:70984) is a leading and experienced Telecommunication Company based in Afghanistan and has operational experience in all over the country since 2014.
Network Zone team always evaluate client’s network connectivity requirement and suggest the best option according to client need.
Network Zone has distribution from local GSM companies namely, Etisalat, Roshan and AWCC, regarding microwave link which is used for Internet as well as for Intranet. Network Zone have expert team for installation of different type of microwave for data communication, such as NERA, NEC, ZTE and Huawei brand microwave used for different projects.
Our hotspot services are supportable in military camps, UN compounds and international organizations upon their requirements. Hotspot user management can easily support through high standard devices and servers. The hotspot coverage allows the users access to Internet services by only having single user and password, which will be allocated separately for individual users. Unlimited packages with high quality, secure, fast and reliable Wi-Fi Internet access in the compound at affordable cost.
Network Operations Management
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the ISP’s network infrastructure.
Ensure 24/7 uptime and reliability of core and distribution networks.
Monitor bandwidth usage, latency, and network health using monitoring tools.
Manage IP address allocation and subnetting according to RIPE/APNIC policies.
Team Leadership
Supervise and guide network engineers, technicians, and support staff.
Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and provide training where necessary.
Maintain a strong, cooperative work environment between technical and support teams.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide escalation support for critical technical issues.
Troubleshoot complex network outages and performance problems.
Ensure quick restoration of service and root cause analysis.
Security & Compliance
Ensure compliance with local regulations and ISP licensing requirements.
Protect the network from cyber threats and unauthorized access.
Vendor Management
Coordinate with upstream providers for internet bandwidth troubleshooting.
System & Data Management
Manage servers, databases, and internal IT systems.
Oversee backups, disaster recovery plans, and redundancy strategies.
Planning & Reporting
Plan for network expansion and upgrades in line with business growth.
Prepare technical activity reports to management.
Stay updated with new technologies and industry trends to improve services.
Regulatory Coordination
Liaise with government bodies like ATRA for compliance, licenses, and reporting.
Maintain proper documentation and be ready for technical audits and inspections.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in IT/Network management within an ISP environment.
Strong knowledge of ISP infrastructure, including core network, last-mile delivery (fiber, wireless, etc.), and bandwidth management.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in network design, configuration, and maintenance (MikroTik, Cisco, Juniper, Ubiquiti).
Knowledge of IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs).
Understanding of firewall management, network security, and DDoS mitigation.
Familiarity with NMS (Network Monitoring Systems) such as PRTG, The Dude, Zabbix, or Nagios.
Knowledge of Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, and cloud integration.
Understanding customer management platforms.
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Certifications (Preferred)
CCNP/CCIE (Cisco)
MTCNA/MTCRE/MTCINE (MikroTik)
