Job Description:
1. Background
IPS project aims to enhance the safety, well-being, and development of children and adolescents in the provinces of Herat, Badghis, and Farah through improved access to protection services, community-based child protection structures, and empowerment initiatives. WASSA, as a national partner, collaborates with WCUK to implement this initiative, focusing on child protection, gender equality, disability inclusion, and community resilience.
The Project Coordinator/Regional Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities to ensure quality delivery, accountability, and alignment with project objectives and donor requirements.
2. Scope of Work
The Project Coordinator/Regional Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and implementation of the IPS project, ensuring timely delivery of activities and achievement of results. The role requires technical expertise, leadership, and coordination across multiple sectors and stakeholders, with a focus on child protection, gender sensitivity, disability inclusion, and community engagement.
