It is registered with the Ministry of Economy under license # 5824, HAS works to support the struggle against poverty, hunger, and social injustice. We work in a variety of sectors including health and nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), good governance, capacity building, social justice awareness-raising, advocacy, and human rights promotion and protection. HAS has been helping vulnerable Afghan communities since 2005 through launching different interventions in more than 30 provinces of Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

  • Prepare the annual skills and knowledge transfers plan for the proposed project;
  • Conduct training as per the developed plan and project requirements;
  • Frequent visits to the assigned provinces as per the developed plan and project requirements;
  • Responsible for organizing and facilitating qualitative and quantitative training at the regional level;
  • Responsible that the training activities are done in the widest manner to include all health facilities and MHTs of the related IPs;
  • Participating in any provincial-level meeting, including PHCC meetings;
  • Participate in ToT activities and ensure technical inputs as per need;
  • Visit the training sessions regularly to identify staff needs; provide on-the-job training and technical assistance to relevant staff according to their need and project requirements;
  • Ensure all skills and knowledge update and transfer activities are done according to the project plan and staff requirements identified based on field visits and performance review;
  • Prepare, adapt, and adjust different training materials according to relevant MoPH guidelines and recommended learning resource materials;
  • Ensure that proper candidates are nominated and attend scheduled skills and knowledge updates are conducted, including maintaining training-related records/documents;
  • Responsible for maintaining effective coordination with relevant stakeholders and entities to incorporate possible technical support in the planned project schedules for the facilitation of staff capacity-building opportunities;
  • Any other tasks/assignments and responsibilities as required for the implementation of the project and requested by the direct supervisor and/or main office authorities.

Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications: MD / MBBS degree or graduation documents from a registered medical institute.

Experience: At least three years of practical experience in related fields at NGOs and reputable organizations

Management: Ability to manage time, resources, leases, and staff

Technology: Proficiency in MS Office

Language: Fluent in verbal and written English and Dari/Pashto

Communication:  Excellent in communicating with people, written/verbal
