OHPM selected by the UNICEF and is responsible to delivering the HER (BPHS & EPHS) in Kapisa, Paktika, Helmand & Herat provinces and implementing other vertical projects in the provinces funded by the UNICEF, UNDP, UNFPA, WHO, WFP, OCHA, according to established and agreed targets (for quality and coverage), and thereby contribute to achieving the goals of the Ministry of Public Health which are to: Reduce maternal and newborn mortality, Reduce under 5 mortality, improve child health and nutrition.

• TSFP Supervisor under direct supervision of Project Manager will be responsible for close supervision of project activities in Paktika province.
• Follow the regular standards of technical issues (Nutrition) with considering academic standards and TSFP goals and objectives for planning and implementation of Targeted Supplementary Feeding Program (TSFP) in districts.
• Help with project officer to compile reports and develop Nutrition information systems.
• Support the nutrition services especially TSFP project by regular monitoring and evaluating system in the field (TSFP Sites).
• Support the procurement of TSFP food commodities, MUAC tape, stationery items necessary to project activities.
• Coordinate technical issues and activities with BPHS/EPHS team/ Nutrition officer
• Over view of TSFP Sites activity in the selected HFs in line with the project objectives and goal
• Responsible to frequent travel to project field sites (TSFP Sites).
• Project planning with BPHS/EPHS project, PNO, HFs (TSFP Sites) and community.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely TSFP monthly, quarterly and annually reports to OHPM Kabul HQ team and WFP.
• Ensuring appropriate and timely distribution of food to eligible beneficiaries
• Ensure that accurate records of food consumption are kept and the field office is advised of stock balances in a timely manner (to avoid stock-outs).
• Collecting and compiling of food distribution reports from TSFP Sites site for further submission to WFP.
• Sharing of TSFP data with nutrition department for compiling and data entry to Nutrition data base.
• Developing capacity building/training plan for TSFP field staff (Nutrition nurse/stock keeper).
• Responsible for evaluations of TSFP project staff regarding the needs and quality service providing.
• Tracking of project output indicators and financial management in close coordination with OHPM Provincial Finance Manager and provide feedback to TSFP Sites.
• Prompt Respond to challenges raised in the TSFP Sites related to TSFP program
• Meeting regularly with beneficiaries, community leaders and health shuras to ensure program effectiveness and community awareness on TFSP.
• To perform other tasks required by the line manager.

• Afghan National
• Graduated from recognized university as a Medical Doctor (MD), preference will be given to the candidates with a post graduated degree in nutrition.
• At least 3 Years’ managerial work experience in nutrition or in public health management with government or non-government organization, UN Agencies or other development organizations
• Local candidates from Paktika province or specially has working experience in nutrition are highly encourage to apply
• Proven skills in using online and offline databases
• Ability to work on Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English language and fluent in local languages;
• Be able to travel to the districts for supervision of Health Facilities
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Ability to create a supportive working relationship with all project teams
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible and able to multi-task,
