Some of our essential services are International Air/Sea/Land transportation, Warehousing and Trucking within Afghanistan, Customs Clearances & Duties Exemptions processing, Transport Management of Relief Supplies, and Project Shipments to Afghanistan.
LIA Logistics is looking to hire the following persons at their office in Jalalabad. Qualified candidates are requested to send their CVs to the given email address.
We are looking for a Logistics Officer to be responsible for the following tasks:
• Liaise and coordinate with the Customs authorities at Kabul airport and ensure the completion of the customs procedures in a professional and timely manner.
• Engage and supervise the labor and equipment for the handling, loading, and delivery of shipments at Kabul airport and other destinations.
• Manage the status of issued Exemption Certificates (ECs) and ensure all customs clearance processes are completed before the ECs expiration date.
• Assist the Logistics Assistant in updating the EC tracking sheet regularly and keep track of all imports into the country under each EC.
• Send daily activity reports to the management and relevant stakeholders.
• Follow up with vendors on the shipment status and ensure the quality and timeliness of their services.
• Responsible for clearing commercial shipments at Kabul airport along with the TSC registration.
• Follow up with the team on the status of exemption documents and ensure they are completed on time.
• Prepare PODs and survey shipments during offloading and hire accurate machinery.
• Receive signed and stamped PODs from the customers and verify the delivery and condition of the shipments.
• Responsible for the secure and safe storage of ALL archived files and documents.
• Perform other duties as required by the management.
