Organization for Research & Community Development (ORCD) is a Non-governmental, Non-political, Non-profitable and independent organization founded in 2010 by a group of community development and research specialist. The aim of the organization is to contribute to the development of Afghanistan as an integral part of the international community. It envisages accomplishing its aims by building local capacities, generating evidence in various disciplines, promoting evidence-based on best practices and implementing development projects aimed at community development at the grass root level. ORCD is a multi-donor funded NGO, implementing health, agriculture and community development projects in several provinces of the country.

• Providing prenatal and postnatal services, delivering family planning and childcare services.
• Newborn Infant Feeding (IYCF) and nutritional counseling to mothers.
• Providing nutrition information to pregnant and lactating mothers.
• Advising on Family Planning.
• Conducting a meeting with the women of the community for community awareness and sensitivity.
• Special counseling to mothers for Reproductive Health activities.
• Advising for pregnant and lactating women to obtain additional food.
• Encouraging mothers to receive iron-folic acid (IFA), immunization program during lactation and pregnancy.
• Correctly filling and register all RH, related HMIS forms.
• Follow up on prenatal visits of patients.
• Provide birth planning to pregnant women.
• Submit monthly report to Mobile Health Team, team Leader.
• Correctly filling of Partograph.
• Perform any duty assigned by his supervisor.

• Graduated from midwifery at the community level of the secondary institute of the Ministry of Public Health.
• Having at least 3 years of work experience in public health centers.

        . Having knowledge of English language beside of national languages.

• Having strong communication, and report writing skills.
• Motivated person, having a positive attitude or vision and ability to work in crisis situations.
