Data Center Electrician – Installation & Commissioning

• ·       Install electrical panels, switchboards, UPS, PDU, lighting, sockets, cables, cable trays, and conduits.
• ·       Install and connect earthing and bonding systems.
• ·       Install and connect AC units in server rooms, offices, electrical rooms, control rooms, and other designated areas.
• ·       Install and connect electrical supplies for HVAC and cooling systems.
• ·       Support installation and commissioning of HVAC electrical controls and equipment.
• ·       Install and connect smart rack temperature monitoring systems and sensors.
• ·       Pull, terminate, label, and test electrical and control cables.
• ·       Perform insulation, continuity, polarity, and phase-sequence tests.
• ·       Assist with testing and commissioning of critical power, HVAC, and monitoring systems.
• ·       Read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• ·       Identify and rectify installation defects.
• ·       Follow LOTO, PPE, and all project HSE requirements.
• ·       Complete daily reports, test records, and commissioning checklists.
• ·       Report progress and technical issues to the Electrical Supervisor/Engineer.
• ·       Fire alarm and detection systems — installation/support, cabling, testing, and connections.
• ·       Access control and security systems — power and cabling for doors, CCTV, and related equipment.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in electrical installation and commissioning.
• Practical experience with AC/HVAC systems, UPS, generators, switchgear, smart racks, and temperature monitoring systems is an advantage.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and use electrical testing equipment.
• Good knowledge of electrical safety and safe working practices.
