Job Description

  • Lead implementation of Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse systems across VDO programs and operations.
  • Conduct PSEA risk assessments, awareness sessions, staff trainings, partner orientations, and community sensitization activities. Support establishment of safe, confidential, and accessible reporting channels for SEA-related concerns.
  • Ensure survivor-centered, confidential, and non-retaliatory handling of reports and referrals. Monitor project activities, field sites, distributions, trainings, and service delivery points to identify and reduce SEA risks.
  • Support integration of PSEA clauses into partner agreements, supplier contracts, staff codes of conduct, and community communication materials.
  • Maintain confidential documentation and coordinate with safeguarding, HR, compliance, and senior management on case referrals and risk mitigation.
  • Prepare PSEA reports, training records, risk logs, and corrective action plans.
  • Promote a zero-tolerance culture for sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, and misconduct.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Social Work, Psychology, Gender Studies, Human Rights, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PSEA, safeguarding, protection, GBV, compliance, or humanitarian accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of survivor-centered approaches, confidentiality, referral pathways, and investigation principles.
  • Proven training and facilitation skills.
  • English excellent, Dari and Pashtu fluent.
