Job Description

Purpose of the Position

The Female Cleaner will ensure that the Health Facility remains clean, hygienic, and well-maintained at all times. The position plays an important role in ensuring a healthy and dignified environment for everyone accessing the Health Facility Center.

Key Responsibilities

    • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of the offices, including lavatories, meeting rooms, offices, corridors, common areas, and surrounding premises through daily cleaning and scheduled weekly and monthly deep cleaning in accordance with established procedures.
    • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors of various types to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Dust and clean ceilings, light fixtures, countertops, office furniture, and other surfaces.
    • Scrub, disinfect, and sanitize toilets, sinks, kitchen areas, and related fixtures.
    • Empty waste bins and ensure proper disposal of waste in designated areas.
    • Wash and dry windows and glass surfaces as required.
    • Replenish and maintain supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other hygiene materials.
    • Clean and refill water dispensers as necessary.
    • Assist in moving office furniture and equipment within the premises when required.
    • Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and liaise with the line manager to always ensure adequate supplies.
    • Request replenishment of cleaning materials in a timely manner from the Ancillary Services Supervisor.
    • Report any damages, breakages, or maintenance issues identified during cleaning activities to the line manager.
    • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Baccalaureate (high school) certificate is preferred.

Experience

  • At least 1 year of experience in cleaning or similar work in offices, schools, hospitals, or community centers is preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Trustworthy, respectful, and responsible behavior.
  • Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Understanding of workplace hygiene practices.
