About NSRDO:

New Society Reconstruction & Development Organization (NSRDO) is a civil, nongovernmental, nonpolitical & nonprofit organization, founded by a team of committed Afghan citizens. The main areas of focus of the organization are equal access to justice and services for women, reduction of domestic violence, rehabilitation of battered women and abused children. We also work in peace building, enhancement of democracy, defending of human rights, Health and Education. NSRDO commenced its operations in 2005 in the Northern Province of Baghlan. Since then, (NSRDO) has been operating in Kabul and other provinces of Afghanistan and has regional offices in Kunduz, Kandahar, Herat, Paktia and Jalalabad along with its head office in Kabul.

NSRDO was registered in the Ministry of Planning, by decision no (951) dated 25/6/1383 and entitled to work in the capital Kabul and other provinces. This is also reregistered in the Ministry of Economy by decision no (598) dated 8/6/06. Furthermore, NSRDO is registered in Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs, Martyrs and Disabled (MoLSAMD), Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health, US Embassy and European Commission.

Vision:

NSRDO envisions developed, empowered, civilized and socioeconomically well-stabilized Afghan communities that stand on the pillars of democracy. A society in which women and men can have equal access to public services, justice and education is a vision, which we vigorously follow. We desire a society that stands on the pillars of democracy and individual freedoms. In such a society men women and children can live side by side without fear of persecution and suppression

Mission:

NSRDO was established to enhance access to justice forth battered and abused women and to protect children from the rampant abuse so dominant in Afghan society. Therefore, it is our mission to reduce and hopefully eliminate the menace of domestic violence and child abuse from our society. To reach our noble goals, we need to educate the public about the psychological impacts of such abuses on the lives of infected families and society. Since its establishment in 2005, we have strived to fulfill our promises to the public and to ourselves.

Job Summary – Cleaner

The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in assigned areas. This includes routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste disposal. The role ensures that all rooms, offices, and facilities are kept in an orderly condition, following health and safety standards. The Cleaner is expected to use cleaning equipment and materials properly, report any damages or maintenance issues, and support a healthy workplace for staff and visitors.

Job Description

The Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas are kept clean, organized, and hygienic at all times. The role supports a safe and healthy environment for staff, visitors, and clients by carrying out routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
* Dust and clean furniture, surfaces, and office equipment.
* Clean toilets, bathrooms, and wash areas, ensuring proper sanitation.
* Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
* Refill supplies such as soap, tissue, and cleaning materials.
* Clean windows, doors, and other glass surfaces.
* Report any damages, repairs, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
* Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and properly.
* Follow health and safety standards at all times.
* Support general cleanliness of the compound or building.
* Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

ob Requirements

* Minimum high school diploma (12th grade) or equivalent.
* Previous experience in security, military, or police service is an advantage.
* Good physical fitness and ability to stand or patrol for long hours.
* Basic knowledge of security procedures and safety protocols.
* Ability to observe and report suspicious activities accurately.
* Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and discipline.
* Good communication skills (basic English is an advantage).
* Ability to work in shifts (day/night) and under pressure.
* No criminal record (must provide background check if required).
* Basic understanding of emergency response procedures (fire, theft, accidents).
* Ability to handle access control, visitor management, and reporting logs.
* Familiarity with using security equipment (CCTV, radios, alarms) is a plus.
