ATOA designs, develops, and implements programs centered on these six core areas, while also addressing three key issues that are integrated into our core programs.

Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose:

Manage financial resources and ensure compliance with donor and MoPH regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare monthly financial statements.
  2. Monitor budget utilization.
  3. Process payroll and vendor payments.
  4. Maintain accounting records.
  5. Ensure compliance with financial policies.
  6. Support procurement processes.
  7. Manage cash flow planning.
  8. Facilitate audits.
  9. Reconcile bank statements.
  10. Submit financial reports to main office.

Job Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in finance/accounting.
  • 5+ years of NGO experience.
  • Knowledge of accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, Pashto, and Dari with excellent speaking and writing skills.
  • Proficient computing skills – word processing, spreadsheet design, and presentations.

  • Other skills required:

  • Efficient, result-oriented, and excellent management capabilities.
  • Ability to identify project weaknesses and gaps and to take corrective action.
  • Ability in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Capacity to perform effectively under pressure and harsh conditions; ability to handle.
  • confidential and politically sensitive issues responsibly and maturely.
  • Excellent capacity development and teamwork skills; cross-cultural and gender sensitivity.
  • Ability to travel throughout the country.
  • Respect the confidentiality of the organization.
