Department: Mining / Operations
Reports To: Mining Manager / Director
Duty Station: Field & Office Based

• Supervise daily mining and extraction activities at assigned sites
• Monitor compliance with approved mining plans, methods, and schedules
• Ensure strict implementation of occupational health, safety, and environmental standards
• Inspect mining sites to identify risks, hazards, and operational issues
• Collect, record, and verify data on extracted materials and production volumes
• Prepare regular technical, operational, and progress reports
• Coordinate with Geology Officers, engineers, contractors, and local authorities
• Monitor the use and maintenance of mining equipment and machinery
• Support exploration and site development activities when required
• Ensure compliance with national mining laws, regulations, and license conditions
• Report illegal mining activities, safety violations, or environmental damage

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in mining operations (preferred)
• Practical knowledge of mining methods, equipment, and site operations
• Strong understanding of mining safety, health, and environmental regulations
• Experience in field-based work and challenging environments
• Ability to prepare clear technical and administrative reports
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
