Job Description
- The Mission:
We are not looking for just a writer. We need a strategic architect who can build the blueprint for profitable, investable, and executable businesses. Your primary focus will be to design, validate, and package high-potential opportunities into strong, practical business plans with a vision toward both local growth and expansion into international markets. The company will carefully review proposed business concepts and invest directly in the most suitable and high-potential ideas.
- Core Mandate: Deliver Successful Business Plans
You will be directly responsible for turning market opportunities into actionable, fundable projects. Success in this role will be measured by the quality, acceptance rate, and real-world impact of the business plans you develop.
Job Requirements
- Key Deliverables:
• Develop investment-ready business plans that include:
– Executive summary and clear business vision
– In-depth market and competitor analysis (local and international potential)
– Operational and marketing strategies
– Detailed financial models (3–5 year projections including P&L, cash flow, ROI, break-even analysis)
– Risk assessment and mitigation strategies
– Clear funding proposals and structured use-of-funds plans
• Conduct pre-plan validation through feasibility studies, concept testing, and market research before full plan development
• Present business plans confidently to management, clearly defending assumptions and projections
• Propose new business ideas with strong market potential; the company will review and invest in the most feasible and profitable opportunities
• Identify opportunities that can grow beyond Afghanistan and scale into regional or international markets
• Monitor performance of launched ventures and recommend improvements, adjustments, or strategic direction when needed
- We Require Proof of Success (Not Just Experience)
• Strong portfolio with at least 3 business plans personally developed that resulted in:
– A funded startup or business venture, OR
– Successful internal approval and implementation, OR
– Securing a loan, investor, or financial support
• Strong financial capability in forecasting, budgeting, and building solid financial models in Excel
• Clear understanding of viable sectors in Afghanistan such as logistics, trade, agriculture, manufacturing, services, and emerging markets
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA is an advantage)
• Good English communication skills for preparing professional business documents and presentations
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate ideas realistically and focus on high-return opportunities
