Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

• Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures with professionalism and empathy.
• Explain the examination process clearly, addressing patient concerns to ensure comfort and trust.
• Position patients appropriately to achieve optimal imaging results.
• Operate advanced ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Adjust machine settings to enhance clarity, accuracy, and diagnostic value.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and sterilization of equipment
• Work closely with physicians to interpret ultrasound findings.
• Provide preliminary observations and assist medical teams in clinical decision-making.
• Document, archive, and manage patient imaging records with precision

• Test and troubleshoot equipment to ensure reliable performance.
• Uphold strict safety, hygiene, and infection-control standards.

• Medical degree from a recognized university with specialization in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Professional certification/degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and disease processes. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify abnormalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork.
• Technical proficiency in operating and maintaining imaging systems.
