Relief Humanitarian and Development Organization (RHDO) is a nongovernmental, non- religious, non-political, non-profit and non-military organization, working for development of Afghanistan through implementation of health, community development and capacity development/research projects  was established in February 2014 and is registered with the Ministry of Economics under registration No 3121.  is also registered in Ministry of Public health under registration # 504.  is registered in Ministry of Women affairs under registration # 751 aims to contribute to the development of Afghanistan through provision of developmental and humanitarian services in public health, training and capacity building of Afghans in healthcare disciplines and skills starts to realize its vision through implementable, context-specific, technically sound and practically achievable approaches. These approaches are: (1) to design and implement the community development programs; (2) to provide primary and secondary health services according to the standards of the MOPH; and (3) to build capacities and skills of ordinary Afghanistan residences and professional of health sector.

Job Descriptions:

Position Overview:

The Logistic Officer will manage logistics and supply chain operations to support effective project implementation in Helmand and Paktia provinces. The role includes procurement, inventory management, fleet supervision, distribution of supplies, and coordination with suppliers and transport service providers in compliance with RHDO policies.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage procurement, storage, and distribution of project supplies and equipment.
  • Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and maintain inventory records.
  • Oversee fleet and vehicle management, maintenance, and fuel tracking.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, transport agents, and service providers.
  • Arrange logistics support for trainings, meetings, travel, and field activities.
  • Ensure compliance with RHDO logistics procedures and donor requirements.
  • Maintain proper documentation for reporting and audits.

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles.
  • Experience working with NGOs is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Fluency in Dari and Pashto; English is an advantage.
