2. Position Purpose

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for overall financial leadership, strategy, governance, and sustainability of Amjaad Company.

The CFO ensures financial integrity, transparency, bankability, and long‑term viability across energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, PPP, and donor‑funded projects.

Job Requirements:

3. Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corporate financial strategy aligned with Amjaad’s growth and investment objectives.
  • Lead project finance structuring, financial modeling, feasibility analysis, and investment appraisal (IRR, NPV, payback).
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and cost control for corporate and project operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Afghan laws, IFRS, donor regulations, and lender requirements.
  • Manage treasury operations, banking relationships, funding mobilization, and liquidity planning.
  • Review and negotiate financial and commercial terms in EPC, PPP, JV, and MoU agreements.
  • Oversee internal controls, audits, taxation, and financial risk management.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to the Chairperson and Board.

4. Authority and Decision‑Making

  • Authority over financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Signatory authority as per Board‑approved financial delegation framework.
  • Oversight of finance, accounting, procurement finance, and treasury teams.
