Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is a non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

• Facilitate the formation of community groups and committees within the targeted districts of the targeted Provinces.

• Organize community-level meetings and consultations to ensure active participation of the local stakeholders.

• Develop and implement a transparent and inclusive beneficiary selection process in close coordination with project requirements.

• Ensure the selected beneficiaries meet the defined eligibility criteria and are representative of the diverse community demographics.

• Maintain accurate records of the beneficiary selection process and share regular updates with the project management team at the field level.

• Design and deliver training programs for the beneficiaries on topics related to project activities.

• Collaborate with local government authorities, civil society organizations, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation

• Participate in regular coordination meetings with the project team to share updates, challenges, and recommendations.

• Distribution of inputs to the selected beneficiaries and ensuring the selected beneficiaries were provided with the inputs.

• Conducting public awareness and community mobilization on project activities to local stakeholders, CDCs and community elders

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, social sciences, economic and development studies.

• At least 4 years’ experience in social mobilization.

• Familiar with KOBO software.

• Fluency in the official languages (Pashto and Dari) with working knowledge of reading and writing in English.

• Computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
