The PMO Officer/Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining project management standards, processes, and governance across the organization’s projects. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while aligning with strategic objectives. The PMO supports project managers and teams by providing tools, reporting, risk management, and performance tracking to enhance overall project success.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain project management frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Monitor and track project progress, timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projects.
Facilitate project planning, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
Prepare and distribute regular project status reports to senior management, including the Operation Head, and other stakeholders.
Serve as the main point of contact for project reporting to the Operation Head, ensuring timely and accurate communication of project performance, risks, and issues.
Coordinate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners to support smooth project execution.
Support project managers with tools, templates, and guidance to ensure compliance with PMO standards.
Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; recommend mitigation strategies.
Organize and lead PMO meetings, reviews, and lessons learned sessions.
Ensure proper documentation and archiving of project artifacts and records.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.
