Job Descriptions:

 

A Fresh Pharmacist in the Quality Control (QC) Laboratory is responsible for performing routine analytical testing of raw materials, in process samples, finished pharmaceutical products, and stability samples to ensure they meet established quality standards. The role involves strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support the production of safe, effective, and high-quality pharmaceutical products.

     Key Responsibilities                                               

 1. Analytical Testing & Documentation 

 Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of samples using techniques such as: 

  Salt analysis, checking pH & Conductivity of water & infusion as per SOPs, etc. 

 Prepare reagents, standards, and samples for analysis as SOPs.

 Accurately record data in lab notebooks, worksheets, and electronic systems. 

 Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate.

 2. Compliance & Quality Systems 

 Follow approved SOPs, test methods, and pharmaceutical standards (e.g., USP, EP, IP, BP). 

 Adhere to GMP, GLP, and safety guidelines at all times. 

 Assist in laboratory investigations for out of specification (OOS), out of trend (OOT), and deviations. 

 3. Instrumentation & Maintenance 

 Operate and maintain laboratory instruments in calibrated and validated states. 

 Perform basic troubleshooting and inform seniors in case of instrument malfunctions. 

 Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work area. 

 4. Sampling & Storage 

 Collect and handle raw material, packaging material, and product samples as per SOPs. 

 Properly label and store retained samples and reference standards. 

 5. Reporting & Communication 

 Report test results to the QC Supervisor/Manager in a timely manner. 

 Communicate any abnormalities, discrepancies, or nonconformities immediately. 

 Prepare Certificates of Analysis (CoA) under supervision. 

 6. Continuous Improvement & Training 

 Participate in training programs on analytical techniques, SOPs, and safety practices. 

 Support method verification/validation activities as needed. 

 Contribute to efficiency improvements in laboratory processes. 

Job Requirements:

 

1. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field.  
2. Minimum 1 years of experience in pharmaceutical Quality Control.  
3. Strong knowledge of laboratory testing techniques and instruments (e.g., UV, HPLC, pH meter, etc.).  
4.Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and ISO standards.  
5.Excellent documentation and reporting skills.  
6.Good understanding of raw material, in-process, and finished product testing.  
7.Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.  
8.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
9. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).  
10.Good communication skills in English, Dari, and Pashto.
