Job Descriptions:

SCOPE OF WORK:

The Clinic Receptionist is responsible for greeting patients, managing appointments, answering phone calls, and supporting the daily administrative operations of the clinic. This role ensures a smooth patient experience and effective communication between patients and medical staff.

KEY RESPOSIBILITIES:

1. Front Desk Duties

  • Greet patients politely as they enter the clinic
  • Register new patients and update patient information
  • Guide patients to waiting areas and provide necessary instructions

2. Appointment Management

  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments
  • Confirm appointments through phone or messaging
  • Maintain an organized appointment calendar

3. Communication

  • Answer incoming calls and respond professionally
  • Provide accurate information about clinic services, hours, and procedures
  • Communicate patient needs and messages to doctors and nurses promptly

4. Administrative Tasks

  • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality
  • Manage patient files, documents, and clinic forms
  • Process billing, payments, and provide receipts
  • Handle office supplies and ensure the reception area is clean and organized

5. Customer Service

  • Resolve basic patient concerns politely
  • Provide assistance to elderly and special-needs patients
  • Ensure a friendly and welcoming clinic environment

Work Conditions:

Full-time or part-time

Work at front desk with regular patient interaction

May require evening or weekend shifts depending on clinic schedule

  • Respect and follow BRS Clinic’s Safeguarding policy and never neglect, abuse, harm and exploit children, young people, and adult at risk,
  • Report any actual or suspicious harm to the children and vulnerable adult caused by staff and program.

 

Job Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred: diploma in administration)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer and typing skills
  • Ability to work in Word and Excel and knowledge of receiving Fee from patient and collecting in a good accountable manner and handover the cash daily to the Hospital director and report to Finance.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional appearance and behavior
  • Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred but not required)

Work Conditions

  • Full-time Saturday to Friday 8:00 to 16:00.
  • Work at front desk with regular patient interaction
