Maihan Humanitarian Convergence Organization (MHCO) is a national non-government, non-political, and non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Economy, committed to delivering humanitarian services across Afghanistan. MHCO focuses on various sectors including Health, Education, Protection, Nutrition, Livelihoods, Food Security, and Organizational Development.
The HMIS Officer is responsible for managing and ensuring the quality, accuracy, and timely reporting of health data from all health facilities in Nangarhar province. This includes overseeing the implementation of standard HMIS tools, entering and analyzing data in DHIS2 and Report Hub, supervising health facilities, and providing technical guidance to staff. The role also involves coordinating HMIS trainings, supporting capacity building, conducting joint supervisions, and generating reports for project management and donors. The HMIS Officer ensures that data-driven decisions support program implementation while maintaining compliance with MHCO policies, MoPH guidelines, and donor requirements.
