Maihan Humanitarian Convergence Organization (MHCO) is a national non-government, non-political, and non-profit organization registered with the Ministry of Economy, committed to delivering humanitarian services across Afghanistan. MHCO focuses on various sectors including Health, Education, Protection, Nutrition, Livelihoods, Food Security, and Organizational Development.
The Transport Officer is responsible for managing MHCO’s vehicle fleet in Nangarhar Province, ensuring their availability, safety, and operational readiness for daily activities and field missions. This includes overseeing vehicle maintenance, preventive servicing, fuel management, driver supervision, and compliance with MHCO safety and transport policies. The role involves planning and coordinating vehicle movements, maintaining accurate records of fleet operations, monitoring driver performance, supporting vehicle procurement and disposal, and ensuring adherence to road safety standards. The Transport Officer also prepares monthly reports on fleet status and assists in audits while promoting safe and efficient transport operations across the organization.
