The Sustainable Goals Organization for Afghanistan (SGOA) is a non-profit NGO established in 2020 and registered with the Ministry of Economy and Ministry of Public Health. It operates in various sectors, including WASH, health, education, food security, and livelihood support, providing emergency response and relief to returnees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) in remote and underserved areas. Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Provincial Officer will be responsible for managing and overseeing all supply chain operations within a designated province. This includes procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution of goods and services to ensure smooth and timely support for program activities. The officer will coordinate closely with local partners, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure that all supply chain processes align with organizational policies, donor requirements, and project objectives.
Key responsibilities include developing and implementing supply chain plans, monitoring stock levels, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials to project sites. The officer will also provide technical guidance to field staff, identify and mitigate supply chain risks, and support procurement processes to achieve cost-effectiveness and transparency. Strong collaboration with program teams and provincial offices is essential to ensure operational efficiency and that project goals are met without disruption.
