Job Descriptions:

  • Supervise and provide technical support to case workers and social workers in the management of child protection cases.
  • Ensure that all cases are assessed, documented, and followed up according to CPIMS+ standards and organizational guidelines.
  • Monitor the quality and timeliness of case management services and provide regular feedback to staff.
  • Support the development of case plans, risk assessments, and referral pathways for children and families in need.
  • Conduct regular field visits to observe case workers and verify implementation of case management activities.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job training to case workers to strengthen their skills and capacity.
  • Coordinate with community-based child protection networks (CBCPNs), service providers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective referrals and follow-up.
  • Support the compilation of monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports on case management activities for internal and donor use.
  • Ensure adherence to child protection policies, safeguarding principles, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all case management processes.
  • Identify gaps, challenges, and trends in case management and recommend improvements for program quality and effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Child Protection, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in child protection, including case management supervision, preferably in a humanitarian or development setting.
  • Strong knowledge of child protection principles, case management standards, and CPIMS+ or similar case management systems.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and capacity-building of staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluency in Pashto and Dari; English proficiency is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and work under pressure.
