About Help The Afghan Children:

Help the Afghan Children (HTAC), is a non-profit, non-governmental organization was established in 1993 in response to the horrible conditions of Afghan families she witnessed during Afghanistan’s civil war.  HTAC is registered with Afghanistan’s Ministry of Economics as a national non-governmental organization.  HTAC is also member of ACBAR coordination body in Afghanistan.

Job Descriptions:

The Education Trainer is accountable to carry out the following key role and responsibilities but not limited to:

  • ldentify the potential trainees such as program staffs, children, parents, PED, DEDs members, governmental stakeholder and select the program participant /beneflciaries according to the set criteria.
  • To facilitate trainings community based child protection network members
  • To provide training for CBE facilitators
  • To build capacity of project staffs and wareness raising trainings for beneficiaries on LPCR.
  • Map out training plans, design and develop training programs (outsourced or in-house).
  • Choose appropriate training methods or activities (simulations, mentoring, on the job training, professional development classes, etc) and incorporated in the training plan.
  • Evaluate the training sessions and summarize evaluation report for each training.
  • Developing Training need assessments and comprehensive training plan in line with the project goal and objectives.
  • Deliver high quality training workshops to the trainees where the project targeted beneficiaries learning and development requirement addressed effectively and efficiently.
  • Support the implementation of logistical coordination related to the trainings coherent to the project.
  • Closely communicate with Project Coordinator regularly, and provide the report on the progress of the activities.
  • Prepare a monthly report and with supports from CO Advocacy team, collect case studies and success stories of beneficiaries that demonstrate the impact of the project.

To carry out any other task assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirements:

  • At least B.A from a recognized university.
  • Strong English fluency in writing and speaking
  • Two years’ experience working in Finance section.
  • Proven Computer skills in Word, Excel and other MS Office software
  • Proven Administration skills
  • Ability to travel within project coverage districts & other provinces as needed
