The Driver Operations Manager will oversee Raftar’s driver operations across Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif, and Herat, managing a network of over 1,000 drivers remotely. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth onboarding of new drivers, providing ongoing guidance and training, and supporting drivers to maintain high service standards. The manager will closely collaborate with the support team to resolve any driver-related issues, monitor key performance metrics, and implement operational policies to optimize workflows.
In addition, the Driver Operations Manager will focus on enhancing driver engagement, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and fostering a positive and professional driver community. This role requires strategic planning to improve operational efficiency, maintain service quality, and align driver operations with Raftar’s overall goals and growth objectives. The manager will act as a key connection between drivers, support teams, and management to ensure seamless coordination and continuous improvement in driver operations.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management, Business Administration, Transportation, or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in logistics, operations management, fleet management, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience overseeing large teams.
Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with drivers and internal teams.
Problem-solving skills to quickly address and resolve driver-related issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage operations across multiple locations.
