Health Efficient, Accessible, Long-Lasting and Treatment at Homeland Organization (HEALTHO) is a non-governmental, non-profit and non-political Afghan national organization established and registered with the Ministry of Economy in 2012.

The purpose of HEALTHO is to contribute to the development of Afghan society through providing health and education services, arranging capacity building programs and imparting vocational skills training, ensure food security and emergency relief assistance in times of natural or man-made calamities.

The Soap Making Trainer will equip women with hands-on skills in soap manufacturing using locally available resources, fostering livelihood growth, enhancing household hygiene, and preparing them for market opportunities.

• Conduct theory and hands-on sessions on bar and liquid soap production.
• Teach safe handling of caustic soda, oils, colors, and fragrances.
• Support participants to make business plans, set prices, and market products locally.
• Document attendance, learning outcomes, and challenges during training cycles.
• Coordinate with community groups to ensure women’s participation and retention.
• Facilitate small group production sessions post-training to reinforce skills.

The duties and responsibilities outlined above are not comprehensive, and the post-holder may be asked to undertake additional tasks as needed, which may evolve based on the project's progress, nature, and the requirements of HEALTHO and the donor, provided they are reasonable and aligned with the individual's skills and experience. The post-holder must be flexible and prepared to address unforeseen issues and circumstances related to the project, adapting to perform responsibilities beyond those specified as necessary.

Qualification:

• Fluency in Pashto is a must, with excellent written and oral communication skills
• At least four to six years’ full proven knowledge and hands-on experience in Soap manufacturing
• Honest and Trustworthy.
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Must have strong facilitation skills and work as a team player
