About People's Action for Change Organization

People’s Action for Change is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization with a mission to work with the poor, excluded, and marginalized sections of society by empowering them to lead a life with dignity. PACo priority objectives include empowerment of people through community organization and capacity development, promoting rights of women and children, ensuring livelihood options to end hunger and food insecurity, and respond to calamities and conflicts through humanitarian assistance. PACo planned to initiate Additional Financing for Afghanistan Emergency Food Security Project  in Kohestanat, Sangcharack, Sozmaqala, Sarepul, Sayed, Sayedabad, Albader, Kosfandi and Balkhab district of Sarepul  province. Thus, PACo planned to recruit short term Enumerators ( Male and Female ), considering the conditions and requirements stated in this announcement. The interested and competent individual who meets the set requirements are encouraged to apply.

Job Description

  • Facilitate opening and introduction meetings with covering communities of Kohestanat, Sangcharack, Sozmaqala, Sarepul, Sayed, Sayedabad, Albader, Kosfandi, and Balkhab districts.
  • Assist in reframing/ establishing the district-level intervention village selection committee
  • Introduce the PACo project and planned activities to participating communities.
  • Facilitate the Identification and selection of project beneficiaries as per set criteria in consultation with the relevant participating community, CDC, and or leader. Using Kobo toolbox.
  • Facilitate and organize the participating communities  to proactively attend the planned Beneficiary survey
  • Conduct door to door household beneficiary survey using Kobo toolbox, in all villages covering under the project.
  • Upload the survey everyday after check to system
  • Coordinate movement with team supervioser and administration.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate degree from a recognized University with a preference of graduation from agriculture 
  • 2 years’ experience in the same field and subject, preferably with NGOs will be consider as advantage.
  • Should have adequate community mobilization and survey  experience
  • Familiar with Dari, Pasto, Ozbiki and English languages
  • Willing to commit to the vision and mission of PACo.
  • Prepared to work hard and long when needed to achieve deadlines, targets and quality standards set by the project.
  • Committed to be accountable and transparent to community, line management and as whole to organization.
  • Should have good communitcation and computer operating skill
  • Good interpersonal skills, flexible, patient and able to assist  others.
  • Able to demonstrate the culture respect of the participating community and follow relevant costume
