The finance and procurement specialist is responsible for ensuring efficient, transparent, and compliant financial management and procurement processes within the organisation. This role combines expertise in financial operations with specialised knowledge in procurement to ensure proper stewardship of resources, value for money, and adherence to organisational, donor, and statutory requirements.
The specialist provides technical support in accounting, budgeting, reporting, and procurement while working closely with managers and project teams to deliver timely and accurate financial information and facilitate effective procurement of goods and services.
• Extensive professional experience in humanitarian emergency response organisations will be considered a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and procurement procedures.
• Excellent understanding of internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in finance, procurement, and office applications is required, with advanced skills in these applications preferred
