About Move Welfare Organization:

MOVE is a National humanitarian, independent, non-political, non-sectarian organization which is aiming for an equitable & quality standard health care for all Afghans throughout its endless effort to response to highly vulnerable group, mother & children, who are victim of various deadly diseases as well as having the high rates of morbidity & mortality in the country.

The policy of MOVE is to conduct the activities honorably and ethically, in the illumination of public accountability and consistency with applicable laws, rules, guidelines and practices to non-governmental agencies.                         
 MOVE Welfare Organization has been founded in 2005 by a group of professionals in health care management. MOVE was registered with Ministry of Economy (Reg. No. 45) & signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Public Health on 21.11.2005 (MoU No. 05). Since January 2011, STEP Health and Development Organization Merged with MOVE Welfare Organization and working as on entity under the name of MOVE Welfare Organization.

Job Descriptions:

  1. Act according to MOVE organization policies and procedures.
  2. Responsible to plan, implement, supervision of RH and HQIP activities. 
  3. To ensure implementation of national standard related to Reproductive Health and Basic Emergency Obstetric Care in all FHHs.
  4. Responsible for monitoring and verification of data in specified indicators of RMNCAH and HQIP.
  5. To conduct monthly and quarterly supervision of Health facilities RH services, and HQIP.
  6. To build up common awareness of the communities on main morbidity, safe delivery, planned delivery, STDs and HIV/AIDs and family planning.
  7. Report, review. analyze and follow up of maternal death cases through death committee
  8. To develop and follow appropriate referral system from the community to FHHs and from FHHs to higher level centers for complicated cases need refer.
  9. Responsible for preparing monthly technical activity report and submit for technical manager
  10. To plan, implement, data entry, feedback, follow the HQIP activities and preparing monthly reports.
  11. To assist the technical manager for collecting, data entry, analyzing and preparing feedback base on project indicators report (RH, Weekly report…).
  12. To ensure the Midwifery helpline is available at all FHHs and used by CMWs for health counseling
  13. Training need assessment of Midwives regarding its knowledge and skill on MCH and BEmONC
  14. To conduct skills upgrade trainings base on need, and provide on the job training and refresher course for related staff.
  15. Liaise with RH officer of PHD and NGOs to ensure good coordination regarding RMNCAH services.
  16. To prepare RH monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  17. Assist organizing supply system of related clinics such as supply of RMNCAH Materials, medicine.

Do whatever related job is delegated by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

At least 3 years’ experience in Public Health management with the following skills:

  1. Management and office skills.
  2. Strong organizational, communication, and data management skills.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and engage with community members effectively.
  4. Communication skills and knowledge of local communities.
  5. Knowledge of English, Dari and local Languages.
