Job Descriptions:

The Project Manager will lead a multidisciplinary team—including civil, mechanical, electrical, and ICT engineers; QC and HSSE officers; site and survey engineers; a hydrologist; a community liaison; and the MHPS Consular—to ensure the successful delivery of infrastructure projects. The role involves overseeing all technical and field operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, and managing stakeholder and community relations. The MHPS Consular will support the team with specialized guidance on mental health, psychosocial support, and protection-sensitive approaches, ensuring projects are inclusive and socially responsible.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of complex infrastructure projects by managing a diverse, multidisciplinary team. This includes:

  • QC Engineer – Ensures all construction activities meet quality standards and project specifications through systematic inspections and documentation.
  • Site Engineer – Manages daily site operations, supervises contractors, and ensures work progresses according to the schedule and design.
  • Community Liaison Officer – Builds and maintains positive relationships with local communities, facilitating communication, resolving concerns, and ensuring local engagement.
  • HSSE Officer – Implements and monitors health, safety, security, and environmental protocols to ensure compliance and mitigate site risks.
  • MHPS Consular – Provides guidance on mental health, psychosocial support, and protection-sensitive practices to promote community well-being and inclusivity within the project.
  • Mechanical Engineer – Oversees the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems, ensuring functionality and compliance with technical standards.
  • ICT Engineer – Manages the setup and support of communication and IT systems on-site, ensuring reliable connectivity and data infrastructure.
  • Electrical Engineer – Handles the design, implementation, and inspection of electrical systems, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Hydrologist – Conducts water resource assessments, analyzes hydrological data, and supports the integration of sustainable water management solutions.
  • Survey Engineer – Performs land and topographic surveys to provide accurate data for planning, design, and construction.
