It enjoys consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and is a signatory to the Code of Conduct for International Red Cross and red Crescent Moments and NGOs in Disaster Relief. Islamic Relief has been working in Afghanistan for more than 23 years, providing emergency relief and implementing life-changing development projects for some of the most vulnerable people in the country. Islamic Relief set up our first Afghanistan office in 1999. Since then, IRA continued providing assistances in emergency relief, food security, livelihood, education, health, nutrition, shelter, orphan sponsorship, Ramadan and Qurbani programmes.

Job Descriptions:

To assist the Customer Service team in handling customer inquiries, supporting service quality, and learning essential skills in customer relations and service.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in answering basic customer inquiries about bank products and services.
  • Help maintain customer records and ensure they are updated.
  • Support the team in resolving customer complaints or directing them to the right department.
  • Assist in processing customer requests and transactions.
  • Help in conducting surveys or gathering feedback from customers.
  • Provide support during customer service campaigns or initiatives.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks in the customer service department.
  • Learn to use internal systems.

Job Requirements:

Education:

  • BBA / Marketing / Business Administration / any related field(Male graduates of 2024; female graduates from 2021 onward)


Experience:

  • Fresh Graduate with no experience


Required Skills and Qualities:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Willing to learn and improve customer service skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.


The duty station of the intern will be the host entity (Azizi Bank ) and the salary will be paid by Islamic Relief Worldwide- Afghanistan (IRW- A) based on agreement.
