About Tamadur Pharmaceuticals Company:

Tamadur Pharmaceuticals Manufacturing Company is registered with Ministry of Industry and Commerce in the year 2023. We have identified the need to develop and implement a pharmaceutical factory in line with the directorate of Pharmacy of Afghanistan (The Ministry of Health) and Health Policy. The purpose of the company is to enhance the capacities of Afghanistan, effectively prevent and treat diseases that are of major concern to public health in Afghanistan. Based on our plan we will decide which medical devices are more needed for the people of Afghanistan with the permission of the Ministry of Health. Additionally, we are installing a plant for syringe manufacturing.

Job Descriptions:

Job Summary:

A Pharmacist in a syringe factory laboratory will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of syringe and other medical devices production, from raw materials to finished products. He / She must oversee the manufacturing process, conduct quality control tests, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, such as GMP. They may also be involved in the formulation, development, and training of production staff. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines set by regulatory bodies (AFDA, WHO, ISO, etc.).
  • Ensuring and checking the overall process from raw material quality and usage to finished goods.
  • To ensure the proper procedure is applied in the lab after manufacturing and sterilization of the syringes and other medical devices.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high-quality pharmaceutical services and report to regulatory bodies governing the company.
  • Interface with government regulatory agencies to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify adherence to standard procedures, accuracy in dispensing, and proper record-keeping.
  • Report all regulatory-related activities to top management.
  • Work alongside the QA/QC team to assess product problems and brainstorm solutions.
  • Foster a positive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Provide oversight functions with regard to all health/infirmary-related activities.
  • Develop SOP on all health/infirmary activities in the company.
  • Overseas organizational planning of bimonthly health awareness presentations.
  • Stay updated on pharmaceutical advancements, emerging trends, and best practices for medical device manufacturing.
  • Any other activities may be needed to lead the position or delegated by management.

Job Requirements:

 

  • A bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a master’s will be preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing factory.
  • Registered Pharmacist with a valid license from the relevant regulatory authority.
  • Excellent knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and professional guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in pharmacy software and digital systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written English.
  • Self-motivated and independent.
  • Strong governance, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
