About Future Generations Afghanistan:

Future Generations (FG) is the collective name for an international network of non-governmental organizations including FG Country Programs in Asia and Africa, Future Generations University (FGU) and its alumni in 17 countries, academia, and individual’s experts. The original charitable organization, Future Generations, was established in 1992 for the purpose of learning from, and building upon the world’s most successful examples of community empowerment and social change. It is complemented by the Future Generations Graduate School (Future Generations University) in 2006 in the State of West Virginia with authorization to provide a Master's Degree in Applied Community Change focus on Conservation and Peace building.  The Future Generations Afghanistan (FGA) established in May 2002 and obtained its registration certificate from Ministry of Economy, Government of Afghanistan in October 2005.  Since 2007, FGA has been operational in Eastern Afghanistan, and successfully completed development and humanitarian programs in Nangarhar, Laghman , Kunar, Nuristan, Logar, Wardak, Nimruz, Herat, Kanadahar, Badghis and Bamyan Provinces

Job Descriptions:

She is responsible for providing training to all targeted right-holders on project topics. She will provide update and reports on trainings to project manager and also provide support to the project field staff and guide the field staff in considerable points to during the project implementation The female trainer will also engage in beneficiary profile survey to ensure female inclusion in project and also contribute in PDM as well. She is required to the end of project to provide female related support to all female beneficiaries.

Job Requirements:

  • work closely with the groups and monitor Project related activities in the focus provinces and district
  • Deliver standard training messages to the targeted beneficiaries according to the training manual produced by project manager
  • Attend staff meetings and prepare weekly reports
  • Conduct training need assessment for target groups and other relevant assessments for the project.
  • Assist project team in terms of community mobilization in every step of the implementation.
  • Document lessons learnt from implementation and actively contribute to revision of guidelines and training manuals.
  • Assist project team in the process of community mobilization, selection of vocational trainees and to supervise vocational training centres regularly.
  • Work closely and provide technical assistance to vocational trainers and trainees to assure the quality of work in the centres
  • Submit photos and relevant data on the project activities to data management officer for further entry in the database in a timely manner.
  • Observes and evaluate the classes to determine progress and make suggestions for improvements
  • Makes sure trainees understand the contents of training by best method/practices of training.
  • Keep all the records of project activities input delivery /supply and assured the quality and quantity of inputs
  • Design and implementation of training for selected beneficiaries
  • Prepare and provide training material for the duration of project training

Qualification:

  • Ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development through hands-on training and interactive learning approaches.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging trainees, delivering clear instructions, and preparing training reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent organizational abilities to manage training sessions effectively.
