The New Consultancy and Relief Organization (NCRO) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1993 and dedicated to serving vulnerable communities across Afghanistan. With over three decades of experience, NCRO has been actively engaged in delivering humanitarian aid, implementing livelihood and development projects, and supporting disaster-affected and food-insecure populations. As a local NGO, NCRO works closely with communities, local authorities, and international partners to promote resilience, self-reliance, and sustainable development through inclusive and needs-based programming.

The Horticulturist will lead technical aspects of greenhouse and horticulture activities, including planning, training, and supervision of beneficiaries. This role ensures the successful implementation of horticulture components like greenhouse setup, crop production, and pest management.

- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or Plant Sciences.

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in greenhouse farming, vegetable cultivation, and farmer training.

- Experience in delivering field training and extension services

- Familiarity with the local agricultural context in Laghman and Nangarhar
