Set Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Mission:
• Building an effective risk-based internal audit strategy and monitor its implementation.
• Establishing risk-based audit policy, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with the industry best practices.
• Providing subject-matter expertise and assistance with audits.
• Set vision and direction of the Internal Audit department that balances the Company’s immediate need for advisory services with the need for compliance and governance.
• Oversee audit work performed by the team to ensure it is well-defined, risk-based, and executed against the overall audit plan objectives.
• Performing risk-based audits and testing to identify risks or exposures related to internal controls and compliance. Providing feedback on improving the operational processes.
• Keeping well informed about critical business and technology initiatives and projects, and ensuring appropriate protocols are designed and implemented.
• Responsible for preparation of Audit control materials and conducting training for the stakeholders as required.
• Producing high quality reports at the end of audit process with detailed description of the risks and proposed solutions to mitigate the risk.
• Develop, establish, and manage department objectives that are responsive to the strategic objectives and key risks of the Company.
• Provide continuous guidance on material risks in a rapidly changing business environment, including proper escalations, communications, and training.
• Develop an integrated Enterprise Risk framework that aligns strategic insights with risk management practices.
• Support initiatives regarding Enterprise Risk and Process Compliance identification, assessment, and mitigation.
• Provide valuable and actionable insights to senior leadership, ARMC and the Board that help close control gaps, improves overall corporate governance and reduces risks.
• Build meaningful relationships across with business, the management team, and with the Board of Directors.
• Serve as the lead senior management advisor for all risk matters and conduct the annual enterprise risk assessment process.
Team Building And Development:
• Build, grow and develop a team of internal audit and enterprise risk talent that is poised to support the department objectives and execution of the annual enterprise risk assessment and audit plan.
• Propose proper organization structure to respond to the changing needs of the business and ensure the right balance of in-house vs co-sourced audit and risk expertise – capability and capacity assessment.
• Develop productive relationships with key risk owners across the business, particularly in the areas of Accounting, Legal, Human Resources, Technology , Commercial Operations and Supply Chain.
