Job Descriptions:

Position holder will be responsible for:

The Job holder shall be accountable for the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Having Knowledge of procurement to support various procurement tasks like sourcing, bidding, and contract management.
  • Stay updated on the Kabul local market trends and pricing to support informed procurement decisions.
  • Work diligently and efficiently to meet procurement deadlines and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Managing procurement of services, equipment, appliances and vehicles locally or through import needed for head offices, Kabul branches and field offices.
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity while representing the organization in procurement activities.
  • Identifying opportunities for new and integrated supply agreements and gaining economic savings and increased service levels from suppliers
  • Procurement of goods and contractual services and disposal of unserviceable office properties for head office, branches and field offices in accordance with applicable administrative guidelines and procedures
  • Receiving and responding to all related requests and queries in timely manner.
  • Assuring quality control of assets purchased or services rendered.
  • Maintaining admin record files and keeping relevant records updated in both soft and hard form as per policy. Keeping all the records prepared for audit and successfully achieving the audit objectives.

Job Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Business Administration or Bachler in information Technology
  • Minimum 1 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient writing skills in Dari, Pashto, and English.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Word and Excel.
  • Speaking and writing ability in English, Dari and Pashto languages
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and required documents.
  • Knowledge of the Kabul local market.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dedication to maintaining professionalism and integrity in all procurement activities.
