Nove Onlus (NOVE) is an independent non-profit organisation. It helps people to build a better future and is engaged with sustainable and generative socio-economic development, vocational training, access to employment, entrepreneurship and basic education. NOVE also works in humanitarian emergency contexts and it is focused on supporting women, children and disabled people.

The Bread for Women project supports the well-being and resilience of women in Kabul by addressing food insecurity and promoting female entrepreneurship. The initiative combines daily bread distribution to vulnerable women with the revitalization of existing bakeries led by women, creating sustainable livelihood opportunities

The Project Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily implementation and monitoring of project activities in Kabul. She ensures smooth coordination on the ground and acts as a key link between the project sites and both the local office and HQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational execution of the project, including bakery assessments, beneficiary selection, training sessions, and daily bread distribution.
   
• Liaise regularly with the local administrative and programmatic staff in Kabul to ensure alignment with the approved project plan and timeline.
   
• Interface with HQ staff (both administrative and programmatic) to provide timely data, field updates, and inputs for reports and documentation.
   
• Coordinate with the M&E Officer to support the collection, analysis, and reporting of data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
  
   
• Ensure compliance with project guidelines and local regulatory frameworks, with particular attention to the safety and accessibility of staff and beneficiaries.
   
• Identify and report operational challenges, proposing solutions and adjustments as needed.
   
• Support logistics and coordination for infrastructure improvements and equipment delivery to the bakeries.
   

Contribute to the preparation of monthly activity reports and documentation required by donors and HQ.
