Agency for Assistance and Development of Afghanistan (AADA) is an Afghan non-profit non-governmental organization working for the development of Afghanistan mainly through (1) provision of quality health services; (2) community development; (3) training and capacity building at professional and community levels; and (4) research in topics of public health and social sciences besides various projects in different parts of Afghanistan.

• The Food Security and Agriculture Project Manager is responsible for the management, implementation, coordination, and technical support of all aspects of the FCA project in Paktika province
• Ensure compliance with FSAC guidelines and standards in all project activities.
• Lead and manage the project team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to track project progress and impact.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project activities and provide feedback.
• Prepare and submit timely progress reports to senior management and donors.
• Coordinate with local authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during project implementation.
• Manage the project budget and ensure all expenditures are in line with the project plan.
• Ensure financial accountability and transparency in all project activities.
• Oversee the beneficiary selection process, ensuring it is transparent and in line with FSAC criteria.
• Providing regular updates to FSAC regional focal points with the frequency suggested; monthly reports to the FSAC through Report-Hub;
• Closely cooperate and coordinate with the project technical team and the concerned government departments’ relevant staff for the design, quality, development and completion of all assessments and analytical reports.

• University degree in agricultur
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent written and oral English language skills
• Previous coordination/management experience
• Previous experience with FSAC cluster, relevant UN agencies
