Job Descriptions:

Job Overview: The Finance and Administration is overall responsible for developing and delivering training modules covering administrative procedures and financial processes to enhance trainees' capabilities, equipping participants with practical skills in handling administrative tasks, including record keeping and filing, office management, and basic finance including basic accounting, budgeting, expense management, financial reporting, and compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing training modules and power point presentations on basic administrative tasks and basic finance  that are essential for starting up business and jobs in offices and organizations;
  • Assessing the needs and expectations of the participants and tailoring the training content and delivery accordingly;
  • Delivering the classes and sessions using participatory and interactive methods including group works, discussions, problem solving, practical work, and presentation, to engage the participants and help them apply the skills to their own business context and goals;
  • Providing individual and group feedback and guidance to the participants and supporting them in overcoming their challenges and achieving their objectives;
  • Developing daily lesson plans that outline the learning objectives, activities, and evaluation methods for the training sessions to ensure that the training is effective, organized, and aligned with the overall training objectives and contents developed;
  • Preparing handouts for the participants;
  • Preparing and administering tests to assess the compression of the participants on monthly basis and make sure the participants are learning and applying the gained knowledge into their real lives;
  • Coordinating and collaborating with other trainers and project staff involved in the project and ensuring alignment with the project objectives;
  • Integrating real-life case studies and practical exercises to reinforce theoretical concepts;
  • Assessing the impact and outcomes of the training sessions and contents on the participants through administering self-assessment questionnaires and other adopted techniques and approaches and reporting the results to the project manager;
  • Reporting and maintaining records of the training curriculum, materials, and participants;
  • Participating in the meetings called by project management team;
  • Other tasks assigned by the line supervisor;

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum university degree in public administration and finance, economy, or equivalent is required
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in Administrative and Financial roles or as a Trainer specializing in these areas
  • Comprehensive knowledge of administrative processes and financial management practices
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts
  • Experience in curriculum development and training program design
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
