Job Responsibilities

As a Graphic Designer, your creative assets should capture the attention of the right audience and communicate the right message to them. You will be required to communicate effectively and methodically. You should be capable of using various mediums to be able to produce artistic or decorative effects. The ideal candidate must be creative and a self-starter capable of doing wonders.

  • Study various design concepts and your surroundings for inspiration.
  • Provide budget constraints for various projects.
  • Design various elements, mockups, and materials for both print and digital collaterals.
  • Ability to perform retouching of images.
  • Test graphics and layouts across various media.
  • Work with external stakeholders like copywriters, printers, and marketers.
  • Ensure final graphics align with brand guidelines.
  • Developing design briefs to suit the client’s needs.
  • Proof-read content and review designs before it sent to client or published.
  • Keep up to date with the best practices, tools, and trends in the industry.
  • Receive feedback and work on it to resolve issues.
  • Pursue new business opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Familiarity with design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
  • Strong portfolio with minimum 15 pieces of artwork
  • Ability to conceptualize complex concepts.
  • Possess a creative mindset and flair.
  • Good and fluent communication skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent presentation skills to present to clients with confidence.
  • Ability to cope with several projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to receive and give constructive criticism.

  • Strong and accurate eye for visual composition.
  • Understanding of website design, layout, marketing, and multimedia design.

Graphic Designer Job Qualifications

The basic qualifications required to be considered for the position of a Graphic Designer include:

  • Either a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, Communication Design, Design,       Illustration, Visual Arts or related field or experience in the industry or both.
  • Prior demonstrated experience of at least 2 years in the Design Industry.
