About (CHA) Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance:

Coordination of Humanitarian Assistance (CHA) is non-governmental, non-profitable, and non-political Afghan NGO, working since 1987 mainly in agriculture, health, education, and infrastructure sectors in more vulnerable areas of the country. CHA is working through the implementation of Emergency, rehabilitation, and development projects for the emergency aid for war, famine, and natural disaster-affected families in the field, to assist with the rehabilitation of rural and urban life, and to work with communities for sustainable development in Afghanistan.

Coordination of Humanitarian Assistant (CHA) is given the opportunity male and female under this position to carry out the following main activities:

Job Descriptions:

 

  • Data entry from hard copies or scanned documents into the MIS
  • Assist project team in registration, verification and spot check for beneficiaries at the district and provincial level.
  • Checking entered data for errors and consistency with the original documents
  • Preparing compiled data sets as required.
  • Scanning and uploading original documents into the MIS as needed.
  • Updating existing data of MIS;
  • Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost;
  • Keep information confidential and comply with data integrity and security policies;
  • Developing project narrative and statistical reports to the project senior staff and client.
  • Prepare project beneficiaries verified lists to the client as well as financial analysts for monthly cash payments.
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions;

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

 

Education: 

  • Bachelor degree in field of computer science, BBA and economics;

 

Experience: 

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in relevant field;
  • 2 years of relevant work experience under development and humanitarian projects will be preferred.

 

Technical Skills:

  • Fluency in written English and demonstrated ability to write and layout high-quality documents
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills able to distil key ideas with clarity and precision.
  • Ability in planning and reporting system.
  • Have effective communication skills
  • Ability to use computer and have knowledge in MS office.
  • Able to work as a part of team in field.
