From its inception to date, ASMO successfully implemented multimillion Dollar projects in Afghanistan through sub-awards sponsored by USAID focusing to improve maternal and child health outcomes through the private sector

Job Descriptions:

The Sales Executive is responsible for carrying out sales and promotion activities in the field to ensure effective promotion and sales of ASMO-supported health products in Kandahar Market. He will also be responsible to achieve monthly and annual sales/revenue targets through efficient management of sales activities and satisfaction of customer needs within the assigned region/sales territory. The Sales Executive reports directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager

Provides quality services to ASMO customers in all assigned tasks, while upholding ASMO values at all times
Ensures efficient distribution management of ASMO products in the market, and builds/maintains distribution relationships
Explores new business opportunities and expands the client base
Services wholesale and retail outlets in an assigned geographic region for all ASMO-supported health products
Handles product orders, collects payments for purchases, and reports weekly sales to the Sales and Marketing Manager
Communicates credit terms to loyal customers and ensures compliance with credit policy
Provides product information and promotional materials to wholesalers and retailers and identifies/registers new sales outlets
Works with potential customers. Third-party distributor and partner organizations to promote and sell products aimed at exceeding the customer needs and expectations
Understands and effectively communicates terms of sale and service to customers and prospects
Achieves assigned minimum sales and revenue targets
Ensures smooth implementation of sales App and encourages customers to use Customer apps
Reports expenses in line with guidelines outlined in the ASMO Policy Manual
Manages ASMO assets properly
Provides frequent market feedback on products, competition, and market conditions to Sales and Marketing Manager. 
Generates ideas that contribute to territory/ business unit expansion that ultimately leads to, ASMO mission and sustainability
Ensuring the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the work environment
Adheres to all ASMO administrative and operations policies and procedures.
Performs other duties, as assigned by the Sales and Marketing Manager. 

Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business administration, or health-related fields. 
Industry experience: At least 3 years experience in selling medical/commercial or FMCG in the Kandahar market.
Technical skills: Being able to communicate with different clients and promote ASMO products and services
Management skills: Ability to work under pressure and effective time management 
Personal qualities:  Be able to work in multicultural settings, ability to smoothly close the deal
Technology skills: Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
Language skills: Fluent in Dari and Pashto and mid-level English language knowledge 
Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders and explain the details to the non-technical user
