Job Descriptions:

Job Purpose

This post is essentially to assist in the management of International Medical Corps Laghman site offices’ human resource functions including recruitment, data entry in the database, attendance records etc. S/he will be updating the personnel files, report on achievements and obstacles to line manager.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Vacancy Announcement for Vacant Positions on websites.
  • Collecting and screening the application to ensure the eligibility and criteria.
  • Preparing the long list of all applications received and then making the shortlist on the same.
  • Organizing the interview panel in consultation with LM.
  • Checking the documents received from applicants.
  • Updating Cost points and importing newly hired staff related complete information and assisting in providing feedback to HQs.
  • Prepare work certificate for all staff at the end of employment with IMC through HR Manager.
  • Ensure HR Personal files are maintained and updated for each employee. Conduct an audit of all personal files on a regular basis to ensure their completeness.
  • Ensure confidentiality of HR Personal Files. No one other than authorized staff person or supervisor have the access to the files. The personal files should be stored safely and if necessary, in a locked cabinet.
  • Preparing and updating the staff TIN form and processing newly hired TIN form.
  • Closely work with HR Associate for maintaining the filling system and ensure that they are complete and up to date.
  • Any other duties which are given by his/her Line Manager or written in his/her Job Description.
  • Tracking and following up the pending issue with HR officer and Sr. HR Manager.
  • Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor

  • Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within International Medical Corps and amongst beneficiaries served by International Medical Corps.

Compliance & Ethics:

  • Promotes and encourages a culture of compliance and ethics throughout the International Medical Corps. As applicable to the position, maintains a clear understanding of International Medical Corps and donor compliance and ethics standards and adheres to those standards.  Conducts work with the highest level of integrity.

Safeguarding

  • It is all staff’s shared responsibility and obligation to safeguard and protect populations with whom we work, including adults who may be particularly vulnerable and children. This includes safeguarding from the following conduct by our staff or partners: sexual exploitation and abuse; exploitation, neglect, or abuse of children and adults at risk; and any form of trafficking in persons.

Qualifications

  • Holding bachelor’s degree in business administration or economics,

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in the same field and working with any organization with excellent background.

Competency

  • Able to work overtime or holidays required by the supervisor or program need, or any other tasks which need to be completed as per organization need basis to related department.
  • Must be honest active, well-mannered, and healthy.
  • To be polite and co-operative with office colleagues and other IMC staff with a nice presentation.
  • Preferences will be given to local candidates in the longlist and shortlist process,
